We provide legal representation to protect your domain names through dispute resolution mechanisms.
The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has established the process of the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) to resolve disputes regarding the ownership and registration of internet domain names outside of Court proceedings.
Under the UDRP a trademark owner can institute this administrative process to challenge an existing domain name. If the trademark owner successfully prevails in the administrative proceeding, then the domain name may either be cancelled or transferred to the trademark owner.
